"Now, when I was your age, I was just as ambitious as you are right now." Dad said to me as he was sending me to school. I love my dad the most, he's always kind and helpful towards me. And most of all, He was a cop and I'm real glad that he is here to tell me about it. "Being a policeman is not as easy as you think, it may look fun for you but imagine the danger that you will face...just like what happened to me...." He left his sentence hanging in the air with a moment of suspense. I tilted my eyebrows and listened much more attentively. " When I was a cop, i was given easier cases to handle, like receiving complains and solving them. Riots were often seen just by the streets. One of my cases which i will never forget is how i got this scar at the back of me.."
Yes, I have seen dad's scar at the back of his body. A deep and stitched line made its way from the spine to the bottom. I gave a twisted lip and then he continued" I was a guard on duty for my department and i was working overnight. And... I was alone. Armed with only a gun, baton and a handcuff, i rested my neck on to the back rest of the chair. Suddenly, A man holding a beer bottle emerged from the darkness of the night. I peered through the window from my guard house and squeezed my eyes to see the man approaching. I leaved my guard house and walked towards him. He was tipsy and seemed to be talking in a slubberish langguage. "Sir, what are you doing so late at this hour?", he replied in a dull voice "Who are you to question me around, I am free to go anywhere i desire to go to! I don't need you here!". I was shocked and didn't know what to reply. But one thing I knew, that bottle can be a dangerous weapon.
I started to talk to him and try to lure his attention away from the beer bottle. But each time, he was more repulsive than before. Suddenly, he let out a Deep, angry tone " I don't need a policeman to help me! This is my house! Look, i can come here anytime i want to! You get out of my house now!" The situation was bizarre and time was of an essence, one wrong move can agitate him and can very well put my life at risk. I walked closer to him and at that moment, He raised the beer bottle and hit it against the table. Fragments of shiny glass reflected the moon light as it scattered onto the ground. Shards of glass were on the floor and i felt stinging pain as cuts stinged my skin. I immediately took out my revolver and keep his distance away. He held the bottle higher, fear gripped me as if i was entangled to the roots of it. He rushed at me and twisted my body away from it. I heard my shirt torn but that didn't matter anymore than the current situation. I shot him at his leg and he screamed in agony. A moment of silence fell as time frozed in its track. Sirens slowly grew louder and louder as ambulances arrived at the scene.
I felt my lips were pale and i was feeling cold. As i tilted my head towards the ground, i saw blood trickling down my leg, at the same time entangled by the leg hair. A kind man rushed to me and i saw his face, frightened and speechless"Your back.. Its... Its...badly wounded.." I saw a pool of blood on the ground where the blood lead to. My limbs grew weaker and slowly, i swifted left and right, my body was getting lighter and lighter, ending off with a slight tud.........
When i woke up, I was facing a fan on the ceiling. The unfortunate events were recollected slowly into my mind. I felt my back stiff. i looked at the mirror... my back was stitched and the cut was...... horrible." Dad ended off with a slight sniff from the nose. I was engrossed into what i just heard, slowly collecting the events and imagining how it happened. The school was nearing and i got ready to leave, at the same time reflecting on that event....

CA1 post -> A difficulty I faced
Life has been getting more and more boring for me... So i decided to post on my blog instead of wasting my time by sleeping or eating. Hmmm... a difficulty that i faced.... Ohh, i remember! Last week was indeed a tiring day for me. I have always aspired to be a mechanical engineer. I find that mechanical engineers are very cool and steady when they are fixing small parts together and how it can later move! Of course in our era of technology, i guess it wouldn't be of a problem. These detailed parts can really play an important part for the whole process! Imagine u have set up a computer but u have accidentally forgotten to put in the micro chip!!! So I think you can tell how much hard work and effort they have put in to build a model.
Back to the topic. Last week, My parents bought me a lego model, a Forklift Vehicle!! I was so excited. I have already 3 other lego models in my home and they are very much collecting dust. So I decided to bring them out and display them! The models that i built all had many small pieces, ranging from 3000 to 5000 pieces. Though these pieces of lego may look small, but thousands of them put together can really create a large model, not to say 5000. Each lego models have their own different functions. For example, the forklift like any other can help lift things up. But 1st, let me show you the very 1st model that got me hooked into lego fixing: the....... MotorBike!
It may look simple and easy from the outside but in fact, its NOT! I built this model last June as it was a gift from my Uncle and Auntie and I'm very glad that they had done this. If I'm not wrong, i think this was the 3rd production for Technics Lego so what i have was the very 3rd model they had in their production line, that makes it even more valuable. Moving on, the 2nd model that i build was..(drumroll)....... The ice mobile suit!!!
By now i think you should have guess that all Technics Lego models are mostly red in colour. I prefer it simple and eye catching; and red is the perfect colour. As you know, ice mobiles don't have wheels but actually Long threads for maximum grip on the snow. This is the easiest model so far with 3140 pieces!!! Maybe i think that its easy as i have done one of higher difficulty before... but still the fixing part is hard. My fingers were very swollen when i was fixing this!!!! But still what i love most is the end result. And thats what this is all about... The 3rd Model that I'm going to show is......(drumroll)......The Cool Bunker car! Thats what i call it.
This is the hardest model that i have built!!! By the looks, I think u can see the small gears inside it. This model caused me 3 days!!!! But Its The coolest model i have... and whats more, it can stretch from 31cm to 40cm!! Thats one of the properties for this. 5420 pieces... never imagined i could fix this... And lastly........The long awaited ForkLift!!!!
See the front two 'hooks'? Those are to carry things up. I tried putting my book on it before and it worked!!! These model is very compact and heavy. But it can be put to use sometimes... technics is the lego brand that i love the most!! The models are so cool and big. Sometimes I envy myself when i look at them....Never thought i could have done this.... But of course Effort plays an important role in the process of building lego structures. But with hard work comes good end results. To all of you, Don't ever give up!!!

CA1 Post -> A moment i spent alone on doing something i enjoyed
This is again for my English CA1 blogging. Hi guys, i'm back again!!! Today i felt that i have achieved something that i always enveyed other people of, something that i thought i could never be able to do. I'm sure that everyone has seen before a 3 by 3 cube in public, and thats what i have achieved, to solve the mysterious Rubik Cube!!! When people were solving this cube, i used to think that they were all geniuses as they can solve the cube in a matter of minutes. But today, i was proved wrong. To solve this cube is a very easy task as there is a guide to solve this cube in a few steps.
Yes! I solved it and guess my timing, less than 1 min!!! I will try to break this record and do it faster. So the mystery is solved too, there are guides to solve this thing. I have also learnt valuable lessons from my teachers in school and i can use these. For example, perseverance. Without it, u can never accomplish a thing fast. So thats all... u can buy this cube at toys'R'us and get a guide free!!! Its quite modern and common now and u can see a handful of cube users on the streets. With determination, nothing is ever impossible.
I bought my Rubik cube just recently from Toys'R'us and it was not a surprise that there was a guide issued. When i went home, i was filled with adrenaline and enthusiasm. When i started, it was kind of difficult to understand the steps. I spent almost an hour on just the 1st 3 steps!!! But i still persevered. Thats what my school also taught us about and i can put it to good use. The next 4 steps were even harder to do than i expected them to be! By the time i had done the steps, i realized that i had spend another 2 hours on this.... I felt like giving up but i was already at the last step. i continued and before i knew it, it was done! I leap with joy, you couldn't imagine how happy i was. I tried the steps over and over again and eventually, i memorized the steps. i was filled with pride that i can solve the cube now. At first, the cube was all mixed up by my sister...

CA1 post -> Something that happened in School
Today will always be a day that i will have to go through every week... Today, i went to school as usual for schooling. I had to carry so many books in my bag and my bag tore so i had to use a smaller bag which increases the difficulty of putting the books into the bag, and i had to carry it in my hand!!! Felt as though it weight a ton! But i still brought the books. 5 lessons at once was a real pain for me... Sci>Maths>EL>MT>Hist... For me, I think science is the subject thats interests me the most... this term our class will be learning about light and its properties. My science teacher is one of the most "fun to be with" teacher i have ever had!! He can make good jokes or maybe cold jokes.... but he always perks the whole class up with that. I can never sleep in his class, and of course other classes too....
After Science was mathematics. Maths was also quite interesting especially when the teacher is awarded with the Most Caring Teacher Award.... Miss Reny!!! She really cares a lot for our class and other classes too. Once when i don't understand a question about congruency, won't go so much into that, She freely asked me to meet her after school to teach me!!! She's definitely caring.... For english lesson, we went to the IT lab and thats how i can update my blog thanks to Miss Neo, my english teacher. I love her lessons as i can get to go to the IT lab and most importantly, to update this blog!! She taught us the basics of blogging and now i can bog as well as i write!!
During Mother Tongue, i would say that almost everyone dosed off.... I dislike chinese lesson the most as i'm poor in my chinese and of course, low grades come with it. I tried to be really attentive once but it was not possible to concentrate. This year, my wish is to raise my chinese results to better grades without affecting my other studies! But i will have to try real hard though... and for the last hour of school, we had our History lessons. History is quite boring sometimes when u have to memorise information about the past. My teacher Mr Daryl Tan showed us some videos about Raffles' and Farquhar... but i don't quite understand it though... but nevertheless, i will try to work hard and get good grades!!!! Nil Sine Laboure!!!

Life for me...
Down to my 2nd post in blogging. I kind of find it a hassle now to keep updating the blog... but hope that its worth while though... Okay, this past week was kind of boring, besides the computer, i dont find anything that interests me. Recently, i have been slouching at home and not even focusing on my work. Now finding it harder to cope with all the stress!!! Especially new topics that are coming up, makes me feel so tired.... These days, my parents have been asking me to go and buy new year stuff, Im so excited!!! New Year is the only day when we can get Hong Paos!!!! Yeh, money! But its still a long way to go, better cope with my school life 1st than to even suggest about relaxing...
